Integrated Engineering I - Autumn, 1998

So, why did I get a grade of N??

Sorry for the delays in grading. With all my time away at the end of the quarter, my grading pile, which is often pretty large at the end of the quarter anyway, was truly daunting. As of Dec 19, I have everything finished except a couple of the last project reports, and I took those with me on my family trip this week, so I will have final grades finished by the time I return to UC on the 28th or 29th. You will get revised grade reports in a few weeks reflecting the final grade. The revised versions of the truss reports are on the chair outside 759 Baldwin (along with midterms that were not picked up).

GROUPS FOR THIRD (AND LAST!!) DESIGN PROJECT
Reminder: Oral presentations by all those who have not presented before now will take place Thursday at 1:30 pm during the final exam period (due date for reports).

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIRD DESIGN PROJECT
Hint on third design project: On Geometry A, if you are stuck on getting loads for the cross members that form the 'X' inside the square, assume that these loads are zero due to the symmetry of the truss. If you did not assume this and got an answer, that is fine (unless it is not justifiably correct).
