Mechanics II - Spring, 1999

FINALS ARE GRADED. GRADES ARE POSTED.
See the grade data links below.

The graded material from the class will be on a chair outside of 759 Baldwin for the next few weeks (starting late Thurs. afternoon, June 10). Anything not picked up will be discarded over the summer.

NOTE: Final grades are on the second sheet WAY over at the right edge, so some scrolling is probably necessary. Be sure you are on the line with your number when you scroll!

If any of the data on the first sheet is incorrect and you think it might have adversely affected your grade, bring the exercise(s) in question to me for review after the summer quarter starts.

Below are links to current grade data. Check these to see if your scores have been correctly recorded. Both lists are sorted by last 4 digits of student ID number (leading zeroes omitted, so -0011 will be listed as just 11). Statistics for each quiz are at the bottom of the list. Blanks means that there was no score for that exercise (counts as a zero). Normalized scores in the 2nd table are relative to the average (i.e., (your score - mean)/(standard dev.). The Q score is with the lowest quiz score (on a relative basis) dropped.

Items from the Course Information sheet (in case you forgot):

Overall course grade is based on the following percentage weightings of normalized (relative to the class average) scores: 40% exam/quiz total (with lowest quiz dropped), 40% homework total, 20% final exam.

Penalties for late homework (without a valid excuse PRIOR TO the due date): 10% same day (by 4 pm), 20% by next class, 40% by second class after due date, no credit thereafter.
