Alberto Ruiz joined the NDE group at the University of Cincinnati after receiving his masters degree in Materials Science from the Institute of Metallurgical Research in Morelia, México. His PhD research focused on using surface acoustic waves to characterize surface treated metals (dissertation). He received his PhD degree in 2004. Currently he is a faculty member at the Instituto de Investigaciones Metalúrigicas, Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, México. back  to NDE Lab
