WaveFace is a desktop commercial software developed by Prof. G.R. Liu and his co-workers for wave propagation analyses in composite laminated plates and cylinders.
It provides detailed analyses for :
> Frequency spectra
> Phase slowness surface
> Phase velocity spectra
> Phase wave surface
> Phase slowbess velocity spectra
> Group velocity surface
> Group velocity spectra
> Group slowness surface
> Phase velocity surface
> Group wave surface
It is the only available software package that can perform waveface analyses. The current version of WaveFace V1.00 is free of charge. You can download and install this PC version for your own use. The installation of the software requires a serial number. Please email liugr@uc.edu for the serial number, by providing your basis information: Name, Address, Contacts, Affiliations etc.
As the software uses a database for the commonly accessed materials of all your projects that you may create later, you will need to register a database with ODBS on your own PC. The detailed steps are given in the help manual "Set up the Connection".
