- HIGH SPECIFICATION COMPUTER SYSTEMS We have three high specification computer systems, and the specifications are as follows:
- Deep Learning Computer 1 (AMD Threadripper® 2950X / NVIDIA® RTX 2080Ti / 32GB RAM).
- Deep Learning Computer 2 (AMD Threadripper® 3950XT / NVIDIA® RTX 3080 / 64GB RAM).
- Robotics Computer (Intel® 9900K / NVIDIA® RTX 3080 / 64GB RAM).
- INDOOR POSITIONING SYSTEM This is a positioning system that is constructed with 12 UWB sensors. The system can simultaneously track the 3D positions of target objects, at a maximum frequency of 10Hz. Using the localization algorithms developed by the lab researchers, this system provides a resolution of <2cm.
- A 10-CAMERA 3D MOTION CAPTURE SYSTEM Vicon 3D motion capture system with 4 Vantage V5 and 6 Vero V2.2 cameras. The system can simultaneously track the 3D position and orientation of the UAVs, UGVs, and other target objects. It offers a Frame Rate of 420Hz at 5 MP resolution. The maximum supported frame rate is 2000Hz. The motion capture system supports tracking throughout our lab space.
- ROBOTIC MANIPULATORS The lab has multiple types of robotic manipulators available. They are listed as follows:
- 1 x Mitsubishi Heavy Industries PA-10-7C 7 Degree-of-Freedom Mobile Robot Arm.
- 1 x Trossen Robotics WidowX 250 6 Degree-of-Freedom Mobile Robot Arm.
- 2 x Physik Instrumente H-820 6-Axis Hexapod (Stewart Platform).
- 2 x Trossen Robotics PhantomX Pincher Robot Arm Kit Mark II - Turtlebot Arm.
- MISCELLANEOUS SUPPLIES In addition, microcontrollers (Eg: Arduino, Raspberry Pi), measurement instruments, programmable power supply, and electromechanical tools as well as various modeling and simulation software are available to support the lab research and student training.
